We are trying to get our balance sheet setup in Prophix and Prophix doesnât seem to know much about Balance sheet budgeting, so I wanted to reach out to someone who has their balance sheet in Prophix.

Hello, my name is Justin Buttles and I am the Senior Budget Systems Administrator at Energy Trust of Oregon. We are a moderately sized non-profit that works with utilities in Oregon and SW Washington to incentivize energy conservation and small-scale renewables projects.
As an organization, we have been using Prophix for just short of 2 years now. Our current uses include annual budgeting, financial allocations, and automated financial reporting. We are just starting to feel like we are settling into the tool and are looking for ways to streamline the ongoing management of the tool to free up time to expand its uses.
I enjoy traveling throughout all of the remote and varied landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, camping and hiking in some of the most amazing places I can find.

Outside of work, my husband and I have our hands full with our 2 year old daughter, 3 dogs, and 4 cats! Hi! My name is Marissa Diehl and I am the Finance Manager at ASHP. I started at ASHP in March 2023 and prior to this, I worked at UPMC within their insurance services division. I am a global prophix admin here at ASHP and I was one at UPMC as well. When I was at UPMC, I developed complex allocation methodologies and using process manager, applied those to our expenses in order to view customer level and product level P&L statements. I was also working closely with getting detail from Prophix to Power BI and developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts. At ASHP, Iâm working closely on projections and budgets as well. I will be implementing new cubes and processes in the near future here. Some fun facts about myself⌠i enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, spending time with family, working on my townhouse, and playing the occasional video game.
