I have been using Prophix for more than 5 years now. In all this time we redesigned and re-engineered the entire GL structures and rebuild all the cubes. We have developed Prophix to be our Financial reporting and budgeting. Its been quite an interesting ride and fun times.

Hello Everyone! I work as the Manager of Financial Planning at Central Iowa Power Cooperative in Iowa. We have been using Prophix for several years and have built our budget , a 20 year forecast complete with Balance Sheet and Cashflow statement and many other useful processes and templates. I am a big fan of Prophix and the change it has brought to our company.
Fun Fact- My husband and I love to dance west coast swing. We even have a dance floor in our basement. West coast swing is big in Canada so-- Prophix people need to check it out when we can all meet in large groups again.

As for me, I love pizzzzas and am currently on a PPP initiative - Portland Pizza Project - where the goal is to try out all the (good) pizza joints in this city.

I see you are doing balance sheet budgeting in Prophix.
I have been trying to get my balance sheet budget setup in Prophix and it seems that this is a foreign concept to Prophix. No one seems to know how to maintain balance sheet accounts in a budget so they carry forward their balances.
I would like to visit with you on how you set up your balance sheet budget.

Hi Wendell - I would love to help you out - but our organization still uses Excel to budget and uploads results into Prophix. I wonāt be much help in the means of budgeting balance sheets. If you can connect with Denise or Emily from this thread Iām sure theyāll be most helpful! Iāve connected with Emily, and listened to Denise on the CEWS.
