Bank Reconciliation Using Prophix?

I wondered if anyone has tried to use Prophix for bank account reconciliations. The bankrec process in our GL system is not only cumbersome but problematic, confusing, and time consuming. There are systems out there that focus on bankrecs, but since we already have Prophix I wondered if we might use it for this purpose.

It seems like a DPM cube of cash transactions with attributes for date cleared might do the trick, but the matching of bank statement to GL transactions might be the challenge.

I expect I’ll play with this idea over the next few days but if anyone has already tried it, I’d love to learn from your experience.

Hi, @bob.smiley. Great question! We asked a couple of our banking customers if they could recommend some options here, but they weren’t confident that their recommendations would help. Unless a customer responds here (which would be great!), I think your best bet would be to have one of your CSP admin colleagues at USA Properties Fund log a ticket to speak with the Product Adoption Team - and you could join them on the call.
